If The Kick Was Good

This fine idea brought to you buy the Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker

I have a horrible habit of buying domains with the intention of creating incredible blogs for and then not following through.

My next great idea may be another one of those but it finally might be "The Idea."

Since you are here, you obviously are aware of "TheKickIsGood", well last weekend someone asked me if this had something to do with Scott Norwood making the kick in SuperBowl(R) XXV. I said no that would be called "If The Kick Was Good" and then it hit me.  This can be THE SITE where Western New Yorkers could gather as we discuss, pontificate, share our absolute delusions of grandeur about all of the incredibly wonderful things that WOULD HAVE happened to our fair city "If The Kick Was Good".  The ifthekickwasgood domain will be active shortly but for now feel free to put your thoughts here.  Here is my first one (this should be fun)...

Byline 1996 -- If The Kick Was Good...
Internet Startup Google plans to place it worldwide headquarters on Buffalo Waterfront

When 5 time Super Bowl Champion Marv Levy tells his players "There is no place you'd rather be than right here, right now" young entrepreneurs Larry Page and Sergey Brin certainly listened. The two have decided that even though they are from San Francisco Levy's words of inspiration and the Bills consistent excellence have compelled them to build their corporate headquarters on the Buffalo Waterfront. They call their company Google and say the are in "the search engine" business and will help computer users find what they are looking for on the world wide web in exchange for placing "online advertisements". The word Google is derived from Googol which is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros--a reference to the number of pages that Page and Brin believe will one day be on the world wide web.

Page says, "Honestly, we picked Buffalo because we have watched them dominate every Monday Night for the last 2 years. We want our company to dominate just like the Bills have for the past 5 years." Brin then whispered "And we love La-Boom." Ground breaks tommroow on the new headquarters building shown below:

The Marketing Genius of the Buffalo Bills

I got this "custom" picture today in the mail from the Buffalo Bills in an effort to get me to renew my season tickets.

Absolutely pathetic.

It is a picture of the Bills punting out of their own end zone in a game that they will eventually lose to the Cleveland Browns 6-3.

This picture encapsulates exactly why I will not be renewing my season tickets this year.

Morons.

Kickoff

I have a gift. A gift of coming up with hilarious entertaining thoughts and comments. Its a gift that needs to be shared. I've written blogs before (toandme.com , nicetryufl.blogspot.com), but I have so much more to offer.

TheKickIsGood.com is going to provide great content, unique perspectives and invaluable web content--all at no cost to you.

And the site's name is quite ironic since it is my ultimate life dream to become the owner/commissioner of a Professional Spring Football League where kickers are outlawed all together. We'll be talking about that more too. But until that day comes. I'll be here--Crafting the wittiest damn comments since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny freaking Kaye.
